Artist Nestor Tropchy and architect Si Dang are among the people on the brink of developing an entire self-sufficient community near downtown Houston composed of existing materials.

Hive Houston is scheduled to be fully-constructed during the spring of 2016 with the first phase of construction to be complete by 2012.
