HIVE Sketch

HIVE will offer residential and commercial properties and is designed to be sustainable and affordable. We are investigating co-op style residential units that will rent for $1 per square foot. HIVE commercial spaces will be home to local, original restaurants, bars, shops, galleries, and services. Tenants may choose to build out spaces themselves, or utilize the services of in-house architects or contractors, also available at modest rates.  The 20′ artist studio containers, comprising the inner HIVE,  are projected to include electricity, sink, toilet, mini shower, and two windows, and will rent for approximately $300 per month. Tenants will pay a monthly $100 maintenance fee, which will go toward utilities, ground maintenance, minor repairs, and use of all facilities.
